We were introduced to different learning systems that made it easier for us to understand the topics that were introduced to us each day. One of it is the Learning by Teaching that used to be developed in the European continents. It means that each day, someone in the group is assigned to teach the group about the topic that was learned that day. It rotates each meeting so that each person gets a turn. The order our team goes by are Grace first, then Steph, then Gaby, then Sheryl.
During classes, we always gets lectures in the first part of classes which usually goes on for about 40-45 minutes. The rest of the time usually goes for the Ldl class teachings. During lectures, we have to take notes for our coursework file. Mr Rick usually uses presentation during lectures but he wants us to pay attention to him. He introduces us to new topic during each class, but sometimes he would use multiple days to explain for the harder ones. After lectures, he gave us time to discuss as the team about the topic before doing the Ldl Teaching.
After doing the Ldl Teachings, we were obligated to do a reflection of our teaching. We are supposed to the reflections on the same day of the teaching. Mr Rick also says that we were supposed to be clear about the reflections, that we should have deep answers, not shallow ones. The reflections also contain a set of questions that we should answer, each a full paragraph.
For Homeworks and Projects, we were usually given daily homework and 1 major project each term. The projects are varied, depending on the topic lesson we are studying that moment.
