~ WEEK 13 ~
DAY 1
Since there were no classes last week Monday and Wednesday, we have to catch up. No LdL. Today we talked about how Hitler's idea was good. He said something like, help others like you'd help yourselves, don't just toss them money, help them! If this behavior is applied today in Indonesia, or anywhere else, our world today would've been a greater place. people will love and have trust in their government and hopefully, no government would make use of that -> like some leaders, at last. Since there were no LdLs today, we take down notes from the lecturer; Mr. Rick. Only until the end of this day is when we realized that typing what you hear wasn't effective, we should decide on who's doing minute 1 - 5, for example, then we guessed it would've work. So that's exactly what we'll do.
DAY 2
Another day of lectures. Just adding up more details and ending to what we learnt yesterday. We didn't get to jot this down ; volksgemeinschaft: people’s community anschluss: connection liebenschraum: living space appeasement: pacifying someone by acceding to their demands. We watched another two videos, one was a compilation of his speeches, the second was a recording of Germany in 1938. It shows the peaceful side of Germany, when everyone had a job, have the right to go on vacations per year. According to historians like Mr. Rick, that kind of world made everyone happy, therefore, good. But what you didn't know is, the Nazis sent spies to holiday camps, making their holidays not free. They can't do things they wanted to do. Lot's of people feel uncomfortable. Things like this happen in China, or anywhere else where the government were concerned about every each of their people. One thing for sure, everyone was surprised by how fast Germany recover, and developed. Everyone in our group are typing independently, no taking turns like planned the other day, we're too sluggish to figure that one out.
