•       Reason Given: It was wrong to take this land away from Germany during the ToV and it was wrong to divide Germany into 2 parts.

Anschluss – was the occupation and annexation of Austria into Nazi Germany in 1938.

Appeasement – a policy for allowing Hitler to regain power to the TOV

We watched two videos compiling Hitler’s speeches in Austria(?). People during that point we’re very loving, happy, and flourishing. These are some notes we managed to get:

-Whether rich or poor, it is everyone that have to pick up a shovel and build up the nation. You can’t just toss on poor people, go give them real help.With this personality, the nation will make the government’s job easier and well-manageable. The country will be at peace like Germany before WW2, where no one’s jobless and the country isn’t in debt.

You couldn’t imagine your parents killing people. This is what happened during the holocaust.

We’re watching the second clip from class 1 that we didn’t finished.

In this video,it’s when they started to fall. They still told them to saty hand in hand, Everyone must help, whether rich or poor. 3o January , he’ve work for 14 years, from 7 to 12 million men work together to get back the land , he tell them to only think of Germany fro the  sake of German victory.

He was talking about the hunger all the time, about millions unemployed, you must know that there are always people poorer than you, you must drop the division between the rich or poor, don’t just give them some money, help them seek through a better life. He was saying all good messages, the plans he was making was all good. With this, by three years, the government was growing very rapidly. With these taxes, they put it back to the labor programs, economy , to provide more people with jobs. The more money invented by the government, the mire invested for the work field. This is how this country bloomed out of misery. Now you can see the program, Volksgemeinschaft , working. If they have no job, they will find you a job. Huge divisions.

Then he showed us another video:

The Cleveland press, this is not propaganda, an exploratory filmmaker from America, recording 1938 Germany. Remember 1832-33, Germany have isn’t great.

Germany was very peaceful, as you can obviously see in the video, all is neat. With the Nazi flag hung all around the place. I saw a bridge with ships carrying it, like a bridge rooftop. The country is a nice, clean street, production going out from factories, market places all happy and clean. Countryside were cool. Great hotels, technologies, people dressed properly and clean. One people, one right, one leader, that was their theme in their period, the German slogan at the time. So this country was completely destroyed five years ago before the video’s time. Pride was a thing during this period, when Hitler brought them out of hell.

This video is propaganda. 30th April 1945, Hitler committed suicide – though the truth is, nobody knew what happened to him until now. This is from the british point of view which obviously is one of the greatest enemy of the Germans.
