WEEK 9

~ WEEK 9 ~
DAY 1
Depth Research and Team Activity; We're supposed to build an explain question in google docs, our question was " Explain the cause for the fall of the Weimar Republic". Then we need to draw a mind map, choose 2 points from the mind map, research as much materials as possible regarding these two points, and use it to build the explain answer. By the end of class, we turn in the mind map to Mr. Rick.  In this we learnt about Hyperinflation and the Great Depression due to Wall Street Crash, how it made the Weimar republic fall. We also learnt how to build a explain answer properly. Making this google docs made us aware of team work. Each of us have different opinions and deciding which points to choose requires complicated arguments. It does not negatively effect the results, though. Just thought we might fix that and needed further respect towards each other's belief, to avoid what we personally like to call ' mental violence '.



DAY 2
From Monday's notes, we now need to build a describe question. We learnt how to build it as well. First, you need to repeat the question word per word, add " because" then your reason. In the next paragraph, simply add in " another reason", repeat question, "because/was" then your reason. You need to have an argument that made sense, and conclusion. This type of question usually scores 8 marks or 6, we learnt how to make use of them and what to do. We need to know how to manage time, we have problems with that. Do not look for anything else if you've started a countdown building the describe question.
